# Monthly checks across your Linux servers

For anyone running servers with client sites on them and nobody looking every day. A report only when there is something.

## Who it is for

**Monthly block of hours.**For agencies and studios running one or more Linux servers with client sites on them and nobody looking at them every day. The check runs every night, the person steps in when there is something.

It is the same check that has been running for months on some twenty servers under support, with the false positive work already done: the report arrives only when there is a new finding, not every morning to say all is fine.

## What it covers

- nightly scan of the site files, looking for webshells, droppers and suspicious changes
- overdue security updates, exposed services, expiring certificates, disk space
- a report only when there is a new finding: no «all fine» emails
- the hours in the block go into fixing the findings, on request, and at month end you get the count of hours used

Each month is an engagement of its own: it renews or stops with an email, no minimum term. The block is paid before the month.

## What you get

A report when there is a new finding, with its severity and the proposed fix, and hours already paid for to carry it out. If nothing happens in a month, the hours stay for your own requests.

[Order by email](mailto:info@brasile.pro?subject=Order%3A%20monthly%20checks%20across%20the%20Linux%20servers&body=Engagement%3A%20monthly%20server%20checks%0AHow%20many%20servers%2C%20with%20which%20provider%20and%20in%20which%20country%3A%0AHow%20many%20sites%20on%20them%20and%20with%20which%20CMS%3A%0AHosting%20control%20panel%3A%0AWho%20receives%20the%20reports%20%28name%20and%20email%20address%29%3A%0AWho%20is%20ordering%20%28company%20name%2C%20VAT%20number%2C%20country%29%3A)

## Questions

What has to be installed on the server? An account with read access to the site files and the logs. No always on agents and no new ports: the check logs in, reads and leaves. Is this an on call service? No. The check looks every night, the person works office hours. If an urgent intervention is needed the urgency rate applies, as for the cleanup. How many servers does a block cover? The number of servers and sites sets the size of the block, and it is in the quote. One server with ten sites and five servers with a hundred do not cost the same.

## From the email to the invoice

Times count in working days. If your mail program does not open, write to the address at the bottom of the page with the same subject line.

- **Right away**pick the engagement and send the pre filled email, with the answers to the questions
- **1 working day**you get an acknowledgement with the missing questions, or the quote with price, deliverables and timing. The quote is valid for fifteen days
- **On your yes**the proforma invoice arrives. Fixed price work is paid half up front and half on completion, the cleanup starts on a deposit, the monthly block is paid before the month
- **On payment**work starts. Access is exchanged only now, on a dedicated account and over an agreed channel, never in the order email
- **When the work ends**report, electronic invoice for the balance, access revoked

## What stays out

- open ended availability: no round the clock watch, no on call duty
- Windows servers: the work is on Linux
- work beyond the hours in the block, which is quoted separately

Order from Detector, the client portal: hours come off your prepaid balance and the proforma is issued from there, with no email in between.
