Generated content is marked with the Commission's official icons, the site publishes its transparency page and the notice on the chatbot. The owner decides who may use AI and on what, and exports the register when somebody asks for it. ## Who it is for - newsrooms and shops generating copy with AI inside WordPress - agencies answerable for the work done for their clients - anyone who has to prove human review on content already published ## The law Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 requires, in article 50, that generated or manipulated content be disclosed, and in article 4 that whoever uses AI knows what they are doing. Both apply from 2 August 2026. Coding starts after the two plugins on decree 30/2026: Pro goes on sale in November 2026 with the free trial, the free version enters the repository in January 2027. ## What it does not do The register sees what goes through the WordPress AI client.
