Terms of sale
You buy a licence, not permission to use the code.
The plugins are free software under the GPL. What you pay for is the key that brings updates, support and the Pro features. Licences are sold only to businesses and professionals with a VAT number.
Who sells
VAT no. IT01444800559 · Register of Engineers of the Province of Rome, Section A, n. 24157
info@brasile.pro · PEC massimiliano.brasile@pec.ording.roma.it
The seller is the individual holding the VAT number above. There is no company behind these products.
Who can buy
Licences are sold only to buyers acting for their own business or profession, with an Italian VAT number or a VAT number from another EU country. The number is asked for at payment, and the buyer declares they are acting for their own business. For this reason the right of withdrawal that article 52 of the Italian Consumer Code gives consumers does not apply. If it turns out a consumer made the purchase, the order is cancelled and the full amount is refunded.
What you buy
- a licence key valid for twelve months from the purchase date
- plugin updates for the whole term of the licence
- email support over the same period
- the number of sites stated by the tier you pick, one, five or twenty five
- the licence renews by itself every twelve months, charged to the same card. Thirty days before, a notice arrives with the date and the amount
- it can be cancelled at any time, from the link in the notice or by writing to the seller. Cancellation takes effect from the next expiry date and costs nothing
- if the price list changes, the new price applies from the first renewal after the notice: anyone who does not accept it cancels before the charge
When it expires
If the licence is not renewed, because of a cancellation or a failed payment, the plugin keeps working as it is. Updates stop, support stops and, on the products that use them, so do the rule updates from the licence server. There is no kill switch and no countdown inside the code: the GPL would not allow it.
- security fixes are provided after expiry too, at no cost, for the whole support period required by EU Regulation 2024/2847 (Cyber Resilience Act)
Licence of the code
The PHP code of the plugins is distributed under the GPL version 2 or later, the Pro version included. A buyer can read it, change it and redistribute it under the terms of the GPL. What does not transfer is the key, which is tied to the buyer and to the declared sites.
Prices and taxes
- prices are shown net of VAT. On the invoice VAT follows the rules for sales between businesses: for buyers with a VAT number from another EU country, valid in the VIES system, the invoice carries no VAT, under the reverse charge
- the founder price, where there is one, applies to purchases made by the date shown on the product page, and stays the same at renewal as long as the licence is not cancelled
- payment is by card, through Stripe. The key arrives by email right after the payment clears, with no step done by hand
- the electronic invoice is issued once payment has cleared: at payment we need the company name, the VAT number and, for Italy, the recipient code or certified email
- for an order outside the listed tiers, an agency with many sites for instance, we agree a quote and payment goes against a proforma invoice
Trial
- two products have a free version in the WordPress repository, which anyone can install and try without buying anything
- the AI register comes with a fourteen day trial, no card required
- a paid licence is not refunded, except in the consumer case described above: that is why you try before you buy
Support
Support is by email, in Italian and English, and covers installation, bug reports and questions on how the product works. The first reply arrives within two working days.
- case by case advice stays out: whether a flagged sentence is lawful, whether a site is compliant, what to write in a product page. That is an engagement, and it has its own rates
- vulnerabilities do not go through support, they have their own channel
What the product does not promise
The plugins apply stated rules and show what they find. They do not declare a site compliant, they do not replace legal advice and they are not answerable for how their output is used. What gets published stays the responsibility of whoever publishes it.
Complaints, applicable law, jurisdiction
- complaints go by email or certified email, to the addresses above
- the contract is governed by Italian law
- the court of Terni has jurisdiction over any dispute
